I assume that switches that are locally connected via automation should be removed from the cloud so that there is a single source of state? when I had not done this the on/off switching was ‘mixed up’ That works well and I am really happy with the functionality! When I add an Automation I can select any of the ‘button press’ variants to define the Trigger, and I have successfully created Automations that toggle my LIFX downlights lights on and off. What is the purpose/function of the Diagnostic ‘Identify’ entity?.

What function do the Controller toggles have?.Given they are all 4 gang switches why are there different numbers of controllers?.When I select a switch from that view the Device view shows that it has ‘1 device’ and from 1 to 5 entities, so my queries are: Hi, could you give me a little more info on the Home Assistant HomeKit Controller integration please? I have used an iPhone to get the HomeKit codes for all of my 4 gang switches and used the integration to make them all available in the Integrations view.
